What makes Pinnacle Service different from the “others”?
Well Equipped
Each of our Engineers is better equipped than most service organizations as a whole, including independents and machine tool distributors. We have the latest in technology for precision measurement of linear/angular movement, dynamic error detection, temperature, force and electronics equipment. Below is a list of just some of the equipment that our Engineers carry with them at all times.
| Pinnacle Service "Tools of the Trade" |
| Renishaw QC10 Ballbar |
Coorstec Ceramic Squares |
| ForceCheck Force Gauges |
Techniks Alignment Tools |
| Spindle Alignment Tools |
Fluke Oscilloscope, meters, etc. |
| Megometer |
Mititoyo Measurement Equipment |
Not only does each Engineer have his own Renishaw Ballbar, he also has access to Pinnacle’s own Renishaw ML10 Laser. You will not find a more capable and prepared Service Engineer. Delays from not having the right equipment are avoided, which means you save time and money.
Well Trained
Our Service Engineers are not only kept current on the Mazak product line, but each is also trained on the proper operation and utilization of sophisticated calibration equipment such as the Renishaw QC10 Ballbar and the ML10 Laser. Anyone can operate this equipment; it takes a well-trained and experienced Engineer to utilize it to its fullest potential. That’s what we have.
Experienced
Our engineers have an average of 10 years experience in CNC machine tool repair. They’re not rookies. They also have previous back grounds in “Job Shops” and machine tool manufacturing environments. Our engineers have built their careers around machine tools. Repair experience range from conventional CNC machine tools, Swiss turns and grinders to the most exotic multi-axis “mill-turns”.
A Guarantee the others can’t give
We are an authorized Mazak dealer. Any Mazak parts purchased from Pinnacle Machine Tools and installed by our engineers carry the same guarantee that Mazak offers. So if the part fails within the warrantee period we replace it at no cost, labor included. The others can’t say that.
Staying ahead of the “Competition”
From our paperless, electronically signed service reports to our state of the art calibration equipment, it’s easy to see that we are not the “normal” service organization. We strive to stay ahead of our competition, which helps you do the same. It’s not about the winning; it’s about being around for the future. The ones who become complacent get left behind.
We are always striving to improve our equipment and procedures in order to keep up with the changing demands of the industry. It wasn’t to long ago when the biggest concern about CNC’s was how many years we could make the machine last without a repair. Now we are more concerned about predicting when a repair will be necessary and scheduling the downtime to make repairs. “Fixing it before it’s broken” is actually becoming a demand. And with tools like the Ballbar when can predict and repair machine problems before they affect uptime, part accuracy and machine repeatability. With our well documented Preventative Maintenance and Calibration programs you can keep track of both machine reliability and accuracy.
If you want a service provider that is better trained, equipped and experienced than the rest, give us a call.
